Shipping Policy
Gorilla Netting & Equipment LLC Online store: https://shop.gorillanetting.com Effective date: September 2, 2026
This Shipping Policy explains how Gorilla Netting & Equipment LLC ("GNEQ," "we," "us," or "our") handles processing times, carriers, freight deliveries, and destination restrictions for orders placed at https://shop.gorillanetting.com.
Lead times and methods vary by product class. Checkout rates and product-page estimates are guides—not guaranteed delivery dates. Weather, carrier capacity, manufacturing queues, and remote destinations can add time.
For returns after delivery, see our Refund & Returns Policy. For installation services (separate company), visit https://www.gorillanetting.com.
1. Processing vs. Transit
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Processing / production | Time we (or our fulfillment partners) need to confirm, manufacture, cut, pack, or stage your order before it hands off to a carrier |
| Transit | Carrier travel time after ship |
Many items are not sitting on a shelf in a single GNEQ warehouse. Custom and cut-to-order goods often require production time before shipping begins.
2. Lead Times by Product Class
Times below are typical business-day ranges for processing/production before ship (or to ship), unless a product page states otherwise. They exclude weekends, holidays, and carrier transit.
| Product class | Typical processing / to-ship window | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Cut-to-order / made-to-order netting & turf | Often ~5–10 business days production before ship; then parcel or freight transit | Season and complexity can extend production. Custom sizes, logos, and special fabrics may take longer. |
| Catalog hardgoods (non-custom accessories, standard stocked goods) | Often ships sooner once allocated; checkout estimate applies | Availability can change; backorders will be communicated when known. |
| Machines (e.g., pitching / training machines) | Smaller units often parcel (e.g., UPS Ground class); larger units often freight; overall U.S. delivery commonly in a ~5–10 business day band when in stock | Exact method depends on size/weight. Confirm any in-stock vs. build notes on the product page. |
| Mounds, mats & related Portolite-class goods | Often ~9–12 business days to ship; some practice mounds ~10–14 business days (manufacturing-dependent) | Lead times fluctuate with manufacturing. Multi-item orders may ship when all items are ready or in multiple shipments—we will communicate when material. |
Product pages and checkout estimates control when they differ from this summary. If we learn of a material delay, we will attempt to notify the contact email/phone on the order.
3. Shipping Charges and Freight Quote Adjustments
- Shipping charges shown at checkout are often estimates, especially for freight, oversize, multi-item, or remote destinations.
- We may adjust freight or shipping quotes before processing if the checkout estimate is incorrect. If an upward adjustment is needed, we will contact you before charging the corrected amount or proceeding. You may cancel if you do not accept the adjusted quote (subject to any production already started on custom goods—see Refund & Returns Policy).
- Free-shipping promotions, if any, apply only as stated on the product page, cart, or promotion terms (typically contiguous U.S. only unless otherwise stated). We do not promise a storewide free-shipping threshold unless a live promotion says so.
- Accessorial services (lift gate, residential delivery, appointments, inside delivery, redelivery, storage, reconsignment, etc.) may add fees—often billed to the customer when required by the carrier or delivery site.
4. Carriers and Methods
Depending on the product, orders may ship via parcel carriers (e.g., UPS/FedEx/USPS class services) or LTL / freight for heavy or oversized goods. Some destinations or PO Boxes may limit available methods. Carrier mix follows the fulfilling partner and SKU rules.
You will generally receive tracking when the shipment is scanned into the carrier network. Multi-package or multi-origin orders may have multiple tracking numbers.
5. Freight Deliveries — Customer Responsibilities
For freight (LTL / truck) deliveries:
- Someone must be available to receive the shipment at the delivery window. Carriers may call ahead; appointments can incur extra fees.
- Unloading is the customer's (or site's) responsibility unless a specific service (e.g., lift gate to curbside) is arranged and paid. Drivers are typically not required to unpack, place indoors, or provide crew labor.
- Inspect before the driver leaves. Note visible damage or shortage on the delivery receipt / bill of lading and have the driver sign. Take photos. Keep all packaging materials.
- If damage is suspected, open cartons with the driver present when possible, request carrier inspection as appropriate, and contact GNEQ promptly (see damage windows in the Refund & Returns Policy).
- Residential deliveries are often curbside. Lift gate is recommended when you lack a dock or forklift.
- Failed delivery, storage, redelivery, and similar carrier charges may be passed through to you when caused by site unreadiness or incorrect address information.
6. Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and International
- Alaska and Hawaii: Shipping availability and cost often differ from contiguous U.S. rates. Orders may require a custom quote—contact us before or after checkout if the Store cannot calculate a final rate.
- Canada and other international destinations: May be available only by quote. Duties, taxes, brokerage, and customs are the customer's responsibility unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. We are not responsible if a shipment is delayed, refused, or confiscated by customs.
- Some products or carriers cannot ship to certain destinations; we may cancel and refund if we cannot fulfill legally or practically.
7. Address Accuracy and Delivery Issues
- You are responsible for a complete, accurate shipping address and for any special delivery instructions needed for freight.
- Packages marked delivered by the carrier are generally considered complete; contact us promptly with proof if you believe a package is missing so we can open a carrier investigation.
- Address changes after handoff to the carrier may be impossible or may incur fees.
8. Split Shipments and Backorders
Orders with multiple items or product classes may ship from different locations or on different dates. You may receive multiple packages and tracking numbers. If an item is backordered, we will communicate options when we know (wait, substitute, or cancel the affected line when permitted).
9. Damaged, Missing, or Wrong Items (Summary)
Full rules live in the Refund & Returns Policy. In short:
- Inspect on arrival; photograph issues; keep packaging.
- Transit damage: report to GNEQ ASAP—within 5 calendar days of delivery recommended.
- Wrong item or manufacturing defect: report within 14 days of delivery.
- Late reports may limit remedies.
